Spring is finally here and I am ready to put some miles on my bike. It has been a busy month getting ready for warmer weather. I want to reminder everyone that our Hogtown District #12 KBA meetings are at the American Legion Hall in Hodgenville, KY at 3:00pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We decided at our March meeting to have a cook out before our April meeting on Saturday April 17, 2010. We will have hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips; nothing fancy, just time to hang out and talk. We will start cooking at 1:00pm. I hope everyone can come out and have a good time. We will be having a FUN RUN after the meeting. So come on out and let’s kick the summer off right. What better way to spend a Saturday riding with friends.
Our first Poker Run will be Sunday, May 23, 2010. We will be leaving from the American Legion Hall in Hodgenville, KY. Kick stands up at 2:00pm sharp. A flyer will be sent out soon. I will have copies to pass out at our April meeting. We will be having our 2nd KBA Summer State Party at Lake Cumberland State Park the weekend of September 24 -26, 2010. Everyone that attended last year had a great time and I'm sure we will again. It’s one of the cheaper weekend parties at only $25 a person and that includes camping all weekend, and dinner on Saturday at the lodge. So mark this date on your calendar; you won't want to miss it. Along the same line, our District #12 along with District #9 will be in charge of field events and a poker run so we will need all the help we can get. Well that's all I have for now… Ride Free.
