In 1982 a group of bikers formed the Kentucky Bikers Association to make a stand in the state of Kentucky for motorcycle rights.

The name was later changed to The Kentucky Motorcycle Association/KBA to be more inclusive to all riders, both on and off road.

Since that time the KMA/KBA has become the premier grassroots lobbying force in Kentucky on all issues regarding motorcyclist.

Over the years the KMA/KBA has taken a very active roll in elections and bills moving through both the Kentucky Legislature and the United State Congress.

Issues from the Riders Education program to state helmet laws to the recently passed Red Light Laws and awareness and enforcement of existing anti-discrimination laws across the State.

On the District/Chapter level, KMA Districts/Chapters continue to support the State Level Political Action Committee Fund, along with various local charity organizations.

Local riders conduct various poker runs, fund runs and general fun rides to support bonding and fellowship amongst area riders.

The ONLY requirement to being a part of the KMA/KBA is a yearly due of $20 and a love of motorcycles or motorcyclist.

KMA/KBA is an Association not an MC or an RC, and since we stand for ALL motorcyclist we gladly welcome any riders to stand with us to FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS!
